Biosketch

Janez Križaj received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He currently works as a teaching assistant at the Laboratory for Machine Intelligence at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University in Ljubljana. In recent years, he was a member of several nationally and EU-funded projects. He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific papers published in various scientific journals and at leading international conferences such as the IEEE IJCB, IEEE AFGR and others. He is a member of the Slovenian Pattern Recognition Society and a member of the International Pattern Recognition Association (IAPR). His research interest include pattern recognition, machine learning and biometrics.
